G-Cloud 15 Supplier

MakeCloud, a UK-based AWS consultancy and AWS Advanced Tier Partner, is pleased to announce that it has been named a G-Cloud 15 approved supplier on the UK government's Digital Marketplace. Confirmation was received on 24 July 2026 (procurement reference RM1557.15 G-Cloud 15), confirming MakeCloud's continued status as a trusted provider of cloud support and AWS consultancy services to the UK public sector, building on our previous approval including G-Cloud 14.

For government departments, local councils, NHS bodies, and educational institutions looking for accredited UK cloud services, this means MakeCloud's full range of AWS cloud support and DevOps services remains available to procure quickly, compliantly, and without the need for a lengthy individual tender.

What is G-Cloud 15?

G-Cloud is the framework run by the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) that lets public sector buyers purchase cloud hosting, software, and cloud support services from pre-approved suppliers via the Digital Marketplace. First introduced in 2012, the framework has become the default route for public bodies procuring cloud technology at scale.

G-Cloud 15 is the latest iteration of the framework, consolidating G-Cloud 14 and Cloud Compute 2 into a single route to market worth an estimated £14 billion over its four-year term. It brings a stronger focus on compliance, social value, and quality alongside price, giving public sector buyers greater confidence in the suppliers they select and giving accredited suppliers like MakeCloud a direct channel to deliver cloud support and AWS public sector services.

What MakeCloud Offers Public Sector Buyers

As an approved G-Cloud 15 supplier, MakeCloud provides public sector organisations with a comprehensive portfolio of AWS cloud and DevOps services via the GOV.UK Digital Marketplace, including:

  • AWS cloud support: ongoing monitoring, optimisation, and expert guidance across your AWS environment
  • AWS Well-Architected Reviews: assessing infrastructure against AWS best practice for security, reliability, and cost
  • DevOps and cloud services: CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and automation tailored for regulated environments

These services sit alongside our broader public sector capability, from cloud migrations and managed services to security and compliance. You can read more about our full offering on our public sector cloud services page.

Why It Matters for Public Sector Organisations

Procuring cloud services through G-Cloud removes much of the friction public sector buyers typically face, no lengthy individual tenders, and confidence that the supplier has already met CCS's standards for quality and compliance. As an AWS consultancy with a certified specialisation in AWS Control Tower, MakeCloud is well positioned to help public bodies stand up secure, well-governed, multi-account AWS environments that meet the data residency and security requirements unique to government work.

Philip Wigg, Director of MakeCloud, said:

"Being named a G-Cloud 15 approved supplier is a strong endorsement of the work we do with public sector organisations across the UK. It reinforces our commitment to helping government agencies build cloud infrastructure that's scalable, resilient, and secure, and gives buyers a straightforward, compliant route to work with us."

An AWS Advanced Tier Partner You Can Trust

Beyond G-Cloud, MakeCloud is also an active seller on the AWS Marketplace, giving both public and private sector customers another accredited route to procure our AWS consultancy and managed services. Whether you're buying through the Digital Marketplace or AWS Marketplace, you're working with a partner that AWS has independently vetted for technical expertise and customer success.
